People were out of work, lost their homes, their families, and many lost hope. You know the classic story; now come see this twist on Charles Dickens’ version, set in 1930’s U.S., featuring characters old and new, with a dash of music!

The quality of Providence Players’ productions not only depends on the sale of tickets but also on the generosity of its patrons. Ticket sales only cover a portion of the budget each year. In addition to defraying production costs, donations help provide free performances for teachers and students, workshops for youth, free tickets to those unable to afford the cost of admission and scholarships to college-bound seniors.
